Shanghai Children’s Medical Center (SCMC) received its National Children’s Medical Center designation in 2017. It is one of the joint institutions of the Shanghai center, alongside Children’s Hospital of Fudan University. National health authority reporting confirms the center’s opening in June 2017 and identifies SCMC as a Shanghai base.
